Pool water is filtered via a sand-filled pressure chamber in the Leisuretime II Fibreglass Sand Filter that traps particles of dirt that are so tiny that they cannot be seen by the naked eye. The Leisuretime II needs to be backwashed once the pressure in the chamber rises as this signals an accumulation of dirt between the sand particles.
