MagnaSwim new pool dosage rates (3500ppm):-

• We recommend 3.5kg Premium Pool Mineral blend per 1000 litres of pool water. 
• Therefore a new 50,000lt pool startup requires approximately 175kg (17 - 18 bags) of MagnaSwim mineral Blend.
  

MagnaSwim maintenance dosage rates (3500ppm):-

• We recommend 5kg per 1,000lts to increase mineral level by 1000ppm
• Therefore a 50,000lt pool with a tested mineral (TDS) requirement of 1000ppm is 50kg (5 bags).

• New Pool:-  5kg Premium Pool Mineral blend per 1000 litres of pool water.
• 50,000lt pool = 5kg x 50 (5kg x 50,000lts)=250KG (25 bags)
• Maintenance Dosage:- 5kg per 10,000lts to increase mineral level by 1000ppm
• Therefore a 50,000lt pool with a tested mineral (TDS) requirement of 1000ppm is 25kg (2 1/2 bags).

Low salt unit info:-

The unit can operate on mineral/magnesium chloride salts, and you should allow an extra 20-30% more product to achieve the correct TDS for your unit to run efficiently. Salt should always be added to the shallow end of the pool and allowed to dissolve. Do not let the salt settle on the floor of the pool as this may cause damage to the surface. Use your pool brush to mix the salt into the water. Running the pump will mix the water and help the salt to dissolve Salt or Mineral Levels: 3500-4000ppm (3500ppm ideal) and no more than 4500ppm.

How to add Magnaswim Premium Pool Minerals to your pool:- 

Firstly it is recommended to reduce the chlorine / oxidiser output to zoero (off), All pool minerals including salt should always be added to the shallow end of the pool and brushed in with your pool broom until dissolved. We recommend running your pool filtration system for at least one hour on manual after adding minerals to your pool. 

Warning:- Never add mineral salts directly to the skimmer box. This high concentration of salt will pass through your filtration, pump, and other pool equipment which can damage your pool flitration medium (cartridge element / sand) and the mechanical seal on your pool pump. Do not let the salt settle on the floor of the pool as this may cause staining or damage to the surface.  

HANDY TIP: The colder the water, the lower your output, but this does not mean you need more salt or minerals. There will always be less chlorine demand in colder water.
